Partner Farms

Farm-to-table means that we, along with our good friends at our partner farms, take the time to do things right, from soil preparation to seed selection to harvest scheduling. The utmost care is put into, not just preparing your meal, but growing the ingredients for your meal. Everything we prepare here is cared for, locally sourced, free range, grass-fed and certified organic. All ingredients harvested from local orchards, creameries, farms and purveyors.

Bhumi Growers
Bordentown, NJ

This is a story of passion, discovery, adventure and American ingenuity.

Once upon a time, a couple met the Yuzu Soy sauce at the famous New York City restaurant Nobu. It was love at first taste.  As most love stories go, the Yuzu was very elusive but they vowed to bring it home.

After years of searching (as is normal in such stories), Yuzu trees were finally obtained and nurtured to produce the finest fruit in the land (New Jersey)! Such good fortune was shared with local farm-to-table restaurants who were very grateful for this bounty.

Many more citrus varieties were added to a greenhouse in Florence, New Jersey and entrusted to the care of Mother Earth, Bhumi, in Hindi.

Blue Moon Acres
Buckingham, PA

Blue Moon Acres all started with a passion for high-quality, locally-produced food. With backgrounds in natural foods-wholesaling and farming, owners Jim and Kathy Lyons wanted to pursue a healthier, more sustainable form of agriculture. Together they realized their dreams to own and operate a farm.. When Blue Moon first opened its doors in 1992, it did so as a CSA—Community Supported Agriculture operation. The following year saw the first harvest of micro greens and the first sale to a New York City restaurant. Word spread from chef to chef, and what was once a small backyard operation soon became the most trusted name in the business. During this time, Jim and Kathy raised three children, the eldest of whom, Ashley, now heads the sales and marketing department. In 2007, with an eye towards expanding their product offering, Blue Moon Acres acquired a 63-acre New Jersey Grown farm on agriculturally-preserved land in Pennington, New Jersey. It was here that several years later, Blue Moon built their first farm market, in which both the farm’s Organic produce and other locally-made goods are sold. Today, the farm operates with an ever-increasing focus on sustainability via the use of bio diesel farm equipment, and geothermal heating and cooling techniques. Looking to the future, Blue Moon’s focus will remain on sustainability and soil biology, which results in disease-resistant, better-tasting, more nutrient-dense foods.A family owned and operated vegetable, beef and pork farm located in the beautiful rolling hills of Indiana, PA. Tucked away in a little-known corner of New Jersey bordering the Delaware River and across from Bucks County and Northampton County PA, this picturesque farm has been home to 6 generations of Phillips family.  Marc and Holly Phillips both grew up in Milford and they became high school sweethearts. They started farming straight out of college with the vision of raising their family on the farm. They started with, and still believe in, the unlimited possibilities of growing great tasting seasonal fresh produce and offering it directly to customers. While Marc spent almost every waking hour on the farm full-time, Holly juggled the nearly impossible:  working as a registered nurse for over 20 years in addition to caring for their children and performing her many farm responsibilities. With a considerable amount of family help and support, along with a small group of dedicated employees and many loyal customers, the farm has grown tremendously over the years.

Phillips Farms participates in as many as 13 farmers markets per week. Many local and New York city restaurants buy directly from the farm and rely on its fresh produce for their seasonal menus.  Thousands of visitors come to the farm every year to enjoy the memorable experience of picking their own fruit on a real working farm. This farm is Marc and Holly’s life’s work. They are proud of it and take personal satisfaction in selling quality products to customers making it possible for them to experience healthy flavorful food that will improve their quality of life.
